Cáca Dána Theatre Company

Founded in 2016, Cáca Dána  is young and thriving theatre company based in Galway City, Ireland. It was first founded in order to submit a devised production for Waking the Feminists West in their Autumn season of 2016. The company’s debut production, All the World’s a Cage took to the stage in October of 2016 with 4 sold out performances and outstanding reviews. Marianne Kennedy of NUIG describes the show: “These talented ladies shocked, saddened and titillated their audience with a raucously funny script that certainly challenged my own notions of femininity. They did not shirk away from the uncomfortable. More than once I winced as I recognised my own biases in action”.
